Kennard Morris
Being born and raised in the Los Angeles area, I have always been surrounded by media. With an interest in music, at an early age, my parents put me into music lessons. Little did they know, that passion would morph into a career in music, that eventually became a career in film. It was while recording sound for movies and TV that I connected again with photography.
Having always been an enthusiast shooter (travel snaps and the like), being surrounded by so much camera technology and expertise on set inspired me to delve deeper into the technical aspects of photography. With all of the talk of apertures and focal lengths, my innate curiosity wanted in on this exciting, albeit geeky, conversation. One day, a cinematographer introduced me to the strobist movement, and told me it would "change my life." He was right.
I took to lighting like a fish to water, and started creating images unlike any I had been able to capture before, and that was just the beginning. As the technology changed, I too changed. Having upgraded my speedlights to studio strobes, logging more hours in the studio, amassing a team of like minded creatives, I eventual started crafting compelling imagery for brands and influencers.
Now as an award-winning, published photographer, I am looking to bring my talent and resources to your project.
